Week of March 15-21 2004 Although we didn't have a Saturday work session this week, a lot happened. Throughout the week we put four layers of gelcoat on the bottom (see picture), culminating in the first layer of fiberglass. On Wednesday, while waxing the top female in preparation for carbon layup, we found a bump, a rather large bump. In the process of sanding the bump down, we found a large air bubble (see picture). After filling the hole with epoxy (see picture), we will cover that with gelcoat and then sand. On Tuesday, we successfully inserted the sleeve into the cylinder (see picture).
