So what can we do better next time?
- Bring more spare parts and tools, ie: clutches, rachet, etc.
- Do extensive testing of all components before the competition, and in extreme conditions (ie heat, wind, etc).
- Prioritize: ie focus more on the engine, rather than the fairing
- Enter more than one car in the competition: there is no additional fee, and there is enough space in the truck, so there is no reason not to
- Provide documentation about the various subsystems, so new members know what to do when something breaks
- When delegating authority/responsibility, agree on milestones/deadlines for when work will be done, or else it will be never get done
- Frequently communicate about progress/problems with all members of the team
Let's learn from our mistakes and win next year!
