The Facts:
Cal is an award winning student-run team whose goal is to complement the education of students at Cal. There are no minimum time requirements and all majors and levels are welcome. There are any number of pratical skills one can learn as a member of SMV: for example machining, composites, and business management.
What SMV Can Do For You:
The kind of knowledge gained in SMV is an invaluable addition to your college education; there is no substitute for hands on experience. Past SMV member have gotten into top graduate schools like Berkeley and UCLA as well as high paying jobs after graduation. For many members, SMV had been the most important activity they have engaged in during college.
